“Color! What a deep and mysterious language, the language of dreams.”-Paul Gauguin
Chromotherapy is an exciting thing that I recently decided to explore and I must say that I’m loving it.
Although chromotherapy is considered pseudoscience, I definitely feel the difference with the red light in particular. It makes me feel so much more calm and relaxed in the evenings.
I also find that blue is a great color for me during meditation and breathing exercises.
People that practice this type of therapy swear by it. They say colors have a profound effect on us at all levels – physical, mental and emotional.
I’m definitely not an expert on this topic. The science is shaky but in my personal exploration of my #mind and #body, it’s definitely a concept that I find interesting.
Here are some of the things it’s used for:
- Reduced Swelling and Decreased #Inflammation
- Pain Relief
- Accelerated Healing
- Increased Range of Motion
- Decreased Muscle Tension
- Improved Circulation
- Regulated Mood
- Improved Sleeping Patterns
