Announcing Weekend Wellness

For many of us, 2020 has been extremely stressful! Dealing with loss of employment, social isolation, health concerns, and a whole host of unprecedented pressure in the face of COVID has indeed been challenging. However, it has also been a year where many of us have more time than ever to fully focus on ourselves and rethink the type of life we want to live.

Let 2020 be a time of reflection and rebirth! 

Every Saturday we will come together to discuss a different wellness topic and engage in an interactive session with guided activities.

Our program focuses on Whole Person Wellness!

❗️ Relationships. The ability to create and maintain healthy, life-giving connections with others, as well as the ability to end unhealthy ones.

❗️ Handling Emotions. The ability to process and express emotions, and to receive others’ emotions in a healthy way.

❗️ Spirituality. The development and practice of a personal value system and a meaningful purpose in life.

❗️ Rest and Play. The ability to balance work, rest, and play and to regularly renew ourselves.

❗️ Stress Resilience. The ability to deal positively with the adversities of life.

❗️ Care for the Body. The ability to build healthy habits and practices regarding our physical wellbeing.

❗️ Vocation. The ability to get the most out of employment, educational, vocational, and volunteer opportunities.

❗️ Organization. The ability to keep track of and make good use of time, priorities, money, and possessions.

Each week’s topic and guest facilitators will be announced the Wednesday prior on the event page.
