Chiquita Collins is a passionate entrepreneur on a mission to change her life and empower others to live healthier. Chiquita has a quiet, gentle energy but is clearly driven. She works tirelessly from sun up to sun down, studying herbology, designing new products, packaging her herbal remedies, and marketing her products, all while being a mom to an adorable two year old daughter. How did the idea for your business come about?
“After struggling with health issues such as high blood pressure, asthma, and obesity, I started taking an interest in nutrition and how it effects overall health. After becoming a mom at the age of 35 and my child having skin issues, my interest turned into how using natural products can effect overall health as well. My interest turned into a want for everyone to understand how improved nutrition and using natural products can effect the body.”

How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?
“I practically breathe, live, and sleep natural healing. I make all my products for my family so, my business and life coincide.”
Who has been your greatest inspiration?
“My greatest inspiration was and is a man by the name of Alfredo Bowman, also known as “Dr. Sebi”. In 1987, Dr. Sebi was sued by the New York Supreme Court for practicing medicine without a license, after placing an ad in The Amsterdam News, The New York Post, and The Village, that stated…“Aids has been cured by the Usha Research Institute, and we specialize in cures for Sickle Cell, Lupus, Blindness, Herpes, Cancer and others.” After bringing 70 witnesses when asked to only bring 9, he was then found NOT GUILTY on all charges by the state of New York and the supreme court because he was indeed curing people of the various diseases, including AIDS. The only holistic/herbalist to ever do so.”
