Today, I was talking with my Aunti Dian (Big Dian) about my renewed love affair with my natural hair. Yes, she spell’s her name incorrectly! 😂

Seriously though, what she said to me really struck me fir it’s profound simplicity.

I think we spend so much time trying to make ourselves better that it’s very easy to lose touch with just how marvelous we already are in so many ways.

It took me losing all my hair three years ago to really learn to appreciate it. I’m so thankful to have a head full now, with all its complexity and versatility. 🖤
