Who doesn’t love Batman? A brooding, secretive, tough-as-nails genius billionaire who can kick ass – what’s not to love? Today is Batman Day, dedicated to the iconic superhero created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger, who debuted in Detective Comics in 1939.

The Caped Cursader has always held a special place in my heart. Introduced to him through television, it was Batman: The Animated Series that deepened my admiration. His cool gadgets, epitomized in the Tim Burton movies, fascinated me. Working with those gadgets one summer was a dream come true.

I spent my day at Fathom Comics in Washington, DC, immersing myself in the world of the Dark Knight. Amidst the vibrant energy of fellow Dark Knight enthusiasts, I had the opportunity to craft my very own Batman button, adding a personal touch to the celebration.
