Agribusiness associations needed stronger strategic direction, service linkages, market access, and organizational capacity.
My role
How I Contributed
Through ACDI/VOCA assignments, I wrote strategic plans for eight USAID-funded dairy and horticultural associations in Kenya. I also facilitated strategic planning for Masimba Women Farmers Belt Cooperative Societies and advanced strategic planning for Abogeta Dairy Cooperative Society.
The approach
From Analysis to Action
I used participatory strategic-planning methods, stakeholder analysis, SWOT analysis, priority setting, mission and vision development, and action planning to help organizations identify realistic pathways for growth.
