Can I say the best Kung Pao Chicken I’ve EVER had!!! OMG…I thought I had gone back to China for a moment, not that this dish can actually be found in China but you get the point. Whether you’re craving the bold spices of Szechuan cuisine or the delicate flavors of Japanese sushi, there’s something for everyone here.

My son and I decided to pop in and grab a bite before a movie. We only decided to go because I had a Groupon and it was soon to expire. Boy, am I glad I did. The food was so good and the portion was ridiculously large so I had enough left over for lunch the next day.

Their Kung Pao Chicken only comes with celery and peanuts but you can add other veggies for $2 more. I hate celery so I opted to just have it with the peanuts. I ordered steamed snow peas as a side dish ($2 extra charge).

I ate so much that I thought my belly was going to burst. It was so good and I was going to the movies so my goal was to eat it all. However, my belly screamed mercy and I had to pack up the extra and carry it out.

The food was as wonderful the second day as it was the first. That was indeed a pleasant surprise because Chinese food doesn’t usually lend well to reheating.

All in all, I’d give this place and its food two thumbs up and I’ll most definitely be back. It’s a great hidden Chinatown gem that you simply must try. Experience the fusion of tradition and innovation at Wok and Roll, where every dish tells a story of flavor and flair.
