Where to Stay in Dubai on a Budget: Hampton by Hilton Al-Seef Review
A Budget Hotel in Dubai That Surprised Me
When I planned my 3 days in Dubai, I wanted a place that was affordable without sacrificing comfort. That’s how I ended up at the Hampton by Hilton Al-Seef. At around $30 a night, this hotel turned out to be the perfect balance of budget-friendly and stylish.
The location made it easy to explore the city, the room was cozy, and the artsy decor gave it personality. It felt more like a boutique stay than a cookie-cutter budget hotel in Dubai.
The Room and Amenities
My room was just what I needed. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and little touches of design that made it feel welcoming. I loved that the hotel didn’t feel bare-bones. Instead, it had thoughtful details that made it enjoyable to come back to after a long day of exploring.
The hotel also had a nice pool, which I took full advantage of. After spending time in dry Tashkent, being able to float and relax in the water was exactly what my body and soul needed.
Fitness and Training for My Camino
One thing I appreciated most was the gym. It wasn’t huge, but it had everything I needed, including treadmills with a city view. Since I’m training for my Camino Frances walk, I set the treadmill on a steep incline and got my workouts in every day. Having that view while walking made it feel less like a workout and more like part of my Dubai experience.

Dining and Entertainment Nearby
The hotel’s location in Al-Seef made it easy to stroll along the creek. I loved walking by the water, checking out old city merchants, and just enjoying the vibe of the area.
One night I joined a dinner cruise, which was only a short walk from the hotel. For $14, I got a simple Indian buffet and a Tanura Dance show. The food wasn’t anything special, but the show and the atmosphere on the water made it a memorable evening.

Why I’d Stay Here Again
For travelers looking for a budget hotel in Dubai, the Hampton by Hilton Al-Seef is a winner. It offers comfort, a great location, and just enough extras to make the stay feel special without blowing your budget.
When I look back at my trip, I’m glad I chose this hotel. It gave me everything I needed and more, and it was a perfect home base during my 3 days in Dubai.
