Women of color affected by HIV needed stronger representation in federal policy conversations and practical advocacy capacity.
My role
How I Contributed
At the National Minority AIDS Council, I researched and monitored federal policy, developed testimony and legislative updates, designed curriculum for the Women of Color Advocacy Institute, managed the program, and facilitated three-day workshops around the United States.
