Women Deserve Rest Before We Break
Too many women wait until exhaustion becomes unbearable before we call it enough. We manage, organize, soothe, earn, cook, fix, and keep going. Yet women deserve rest before we break.
Rest is not a reward for collapse
Rest is a relationship with our own humanity. It gives us back our thoughts, our bodies, our softness, and our ability to choose from wholeness instead of depletion.
This belongs beside my writing on women and rest and solo travel confidence. Women need movement, but we also need stillness.
Softness can be strategy
Sometimes rest looks like a quiet room, a slow walk, or ten minutes with Calm. It does not need to be dramatic to matter.
The bigger lesson is that I do not want a life that only proves endurance. I want a life with breath, pleasure, ambition, and peace.
