A Practical Traveler Still Believes in Magic
I am a practical traveler, but I still believe in magic. I want my documents in order, my lodging confirmed, my phone charged, and my route reasonably clear. Then I want freedom.
Planning and wonder can coexist
A practical traveler does not have to drain the joy from a trip. Good planning can protect the space where wonder happens.
That balance connects with solo travel confidence and slow travel lessons. Confidence often grows from preparation.
Use tools without losing the trip
Resources like iVisa, SafetyWing, and Hostelworld can support the practical side. Then I can focus on being present.
The bigger lesson is that planning and magic are not enemies. The right preparation gives wonder room to enter.
