I am thankful for the people who feed communities. Not in a vague way. I mean the farmers, cooks, servers, vendors, drivers, dishwashers, food pantry workers, cafeteria staff, and home cooks who keep people nourished.
The Work Before the Plate
The work before the plate is enormous. We see the meal, but not always the system that made it possible.
Farmers, Cooks, Servers, and Sellers
Farmers, cooks, servers, and sellers connect directly with women in food systems and farmers market stories.
Food as Public Care
Food as public care matters. Feeding people is one of the clearest measures of a community’s values.
Gratitude With Names Attached
Food resources like ButcherBox support some households, but gratitude must also include labor awareness and fair access.
