My Low Budget Beauty and Fashion Favorites from ThredUp and Amazon for August 2020
I definitely wear a lot of lace and crotchet clothing. My style is very much inspired by my Latin roots. My mom is all about being super feminine and that’s how she raised me. When I was little she kept me in lots of frilly dresses and lots of lace socks. I’m definitely not as dainty as I was shaped to be but I’m definitely all about highlighting my female form by what I choose to wear. Although I do like to show my figure, I don’t like to show much bare skin and that’s why lace in particular is one of my favorite fabrics.
I love to be sexy and edgy, colorful hair, loud makeup, ripped jeans, those are my look staples. My personal style is a little bit rock star, a little bit tom boy. I say it’s like Kat Von D and Audrey Hepburn had a baby. LOL

Favorite Finds From Thread Up:
I also like to wear things that are unique. Who wants to see someone else wearing the same outfit? Not me! I’m an environmentalist and I lead a minimalist lifestyle so I buy 95% of my clothes thrift from ThredUP. The rest I get by searching Amazon for super cheap fashions under $10. 🙌🏾
One reason that I really like buying thrift, besides the low prices and unique finds, is that it’s an environmentally conscious way to shop. You’re buying clothes that would otherwise be needlessly contributing to waste. When I’m tired of my clothes I also sell them through ThredUP’s consignment service. #Winning
This top was $5.99 and I had gotten this skirt for under $10 months several before from ThredUP. The two pieces weren’t meant to go together but I think they make a super cute pairing. I’m all about looking like a million bucks without actually spending a million bucks.

Favorite Finds From Amazon:
Amazon has a wonderful collection of crop tops that are super cute and super cheap.

One thing that I also really like getting from Amazon is super cute t-shirts that have catchy messages you don’t typically find in stores. When I say this one I had to get it because it captured my sass perfectly. 🤩
August Wig Finds from Amazon:
I’m also a wig junkie and I have been for years. These days I’m on a natural hair journey though so the wigs give me a chance to play with different looks while I grow out my hair. When my natural hair gets long enough for me to be satisfied I’m considering coloring it. My wig collection let’s me experiment without damaging my hair in the meantime. Luckily, Amazon is a great place to find cheap wigs! ☺️
