ArteeFilms Is Capturing the Moment While Creating Her Own Lane

There are some stories that feel personal because you have watched them unfold in real time. This is one of those stories. I have known Arteesha her entire life. Over the years, I have seen her curiosity turn into intention, and her passion turn into purpose. Seeing her now as the creative force behind ArteeFilms fills me with pride. Not only because of the work she creates, but because of the woman she has become along the way.

Growing up in a small town does not always make dreaming easy. Sometimes it makes dreaming feel risky. Arteesha did not come from a place where touring with artists or working backstage felt guaranteed. She had to imagine a life she could not see around her. Then she had to build it for herself.

That alone is leadership.

Choosing Her Own Path From the Start

From early on, Arteesha loved storytelling. Acting was her first dream. She wanted to be part of the film world and bring stories to life. When opportunities in front of the camera did not come easily, she did not quit. Instead, she asked herself a powerful question.

How can I still be part of this creative world if I am not getting gigs in front of the camera?

That question led her behind the lens.

After earning her associate degree, she was ready to leave Pitt County and pursue something bigger. Her original plan was to follow a traditional academic route. Then she visited the Art Institute of Raleigh Durham. Something clicked. It felt like home. So she followed her heart and studied digital filmmaking and video production.

When the school shut down just months before she could complete her bachelor’s degree, many people would have stopped. Arteesha did not. She pivoted, started her own freelance videography business, and kept moving forward with intention. That resilience has always been one of her greatest strengths.

Capturing Energy in Real Time

Today, ArteeFilms is known for capturing live concerts, touring life, and behind the scenes moments in a way that feels cinematic and honest. Arteesha has a gift for documenting emotion, energy, and movement as they happen.

What excites her most is the unexpected. Live moments you cannot plan. Shots that exist for a second and then disappear forever. She understands that what she captures only exists in that exact moment. Once it is gone, it is gone.

That awareness gives her work depth. It also gives it urgency.

Her visuals tell stories. They make you feel like you were there. Not just watching, but fully present in the experience.

Earning Trust and Owning Space

Access is everything in the world of live events and touring. Arteesha earns trust through professionalism, respect, and awareness. She knows when to capture the moment and when to step back. That balance matters.

Consistency matters too. So does delivering quality work while respecting the environment and the people in it. Over time, that approach builds relationships that last.

I have watched her grow into someone who moves with quiet confidence. She understands her value. She respects her boundaries. That kind of growth does not happen overnight. It comes from experience and staying rooted in purpose.

A Reminder for Anyone Starting From Where We Came From

Arteesha’s journey is a reminder that you do not need permission to create the life you want. You do not have to come from a big city. You do not need to have every step figured out.

Sometimes you just have to start where you are and keep showing up.

Her advice to photographers and videographers trying to break into live events reflects that truth. Go for what you know. Do not wait on anyone to create opportunities for you. Be reliable. Be respectable. Move with confidence.

That advice is grounded in lived experience.

Why I Wanted You to Know Her

I wanted to introduce Arteesha to this community because her story matters. Especially for women coming from small towns. Especially for creatives building something that does not look like the blueprint they were handed.

Watching her expand into larger tours and continue elevating ArteeFilms creatively feels like watching a promise fulfilled. And I know she is just getting started.

When you experience her work, I hope you feel what I feel. Pride. Inspiration. And the reminder that it is possible to create your own lane and thrive in it.
