Year-End Walks Help Me Hear Myself

I like year end walks because the calendar cannot explain everything. Dates change cleanly. People do not. A walk gives me room to feel what the year actually did to me.
The Calendar Cannot Explain Everything
I do not need every walk to become a resolution. Sometimes I just need movement, air, and enough silence to admit what I am carrying.
A Walk Without a Resolution
This connects with women and rest and slow travel lessons. Reflection needs space. It cannot always happen in the noise.
What the Body Remembers
My body remembers more than my planner. It remembers stress, joy, disappointment, risk, laughter, exhaustion, and the moments when I surprised myself by surviving or choosing differently.
Crossing Into the Next Season
Sometimes I use Calm to quiet my mind before or after the walk. Sometimes I bring a notebook or something useful from my Amazon shop and write down what finally becomes clear.
A year-end walk does not fix the year. It helps me honor it. Then, step by step, I start crossing into whatever comes next.
