Read My Camino in Order: Complete DG Speaks Camino Index
I didn’t expect the Camino de Santiago to become one of the defining experiences of my life. I certainly didn’t expect it to become one of the biggest storytelling projects I’ve ever undertaken. Yet somewhere between Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Santiago de Compostela, I realized I wasn’t simply documenting a pilgrimage. I was documenting transformation.
This Camino index brings together every article I’ve written about walking the Camino Francés from August 26 through October 3, 2025. Some stories are practical guides designed to help you prepare. Others are deeply personal reflections about fear, friendship, solitude, blisters, food, faith, identity, and what happens after the walking ends.
Whether you’re planning your first Camino, dreaming about one someday, or simply curious why so many pilgrims return home different people, I hope these stories help you feel a little more prepared—and a little less alone.
